Without these books, I wouldn’t be able to create consistently on my creative path.

Julia Cameron’s books, “The artist’s way” and “Write for life” are the only ones that have truly influenced my creative journey. She introduces three simple techniques, one of which is writing three morning pages.

I began writing morning pages on May 16th, but initially, I was uncomfortable hearing my own thoughts and often avoided writing. During the first half-year of practicing morning pages, my journaling was sporadic, with many days missed.

Then, something changed. I rediscovered Julia's books, spent time with them, and by mid-January this year, I started writing consistently. This commitment transformed my creative life.

Despite having ADHD and struggling to sit still and be alone, I finished the first draft of a book and launched a blog, where I now write regularly.

Over six months, I turned writing into a true practice. I also started taking myself on artist dates once a week, which made returning to writing easier.

The morning pages truly changed my life. If you want to awaken the artist within you and get them working, start by reading these books and writing your morning pages.

The techniques in Julia’s books are easy to follow and accessible to all. I hope you find this tip helpful.
